Bro Benny
Liow Woon Khin is the editor of Eastern Horizon, a tri-annual journal of the
Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia. He is also the Editorial
Consultant and contributor to the "Religions and Beliefs" volume of
the Encyclopedia of Malaysia (2006).
His writings
have appeared in numerous journals, including Journal of the Malaysian Branch
of the Royal Asiatic Society and in "Nurturing Child and Adolescent
Spirituality: Perspectives from the World's Religious Traditions" (Rowan
& Littlefield: Minneapolis, USA, 2006).
He edited
three volumes in honor of the well-known Malaysian Buddhist missioner,
Venerable Datuk K. Sri Dhammananda: "K. Sri Dhammananda: A Pictorial
Retrospect (2000)", "K. Sri Dhammananda Felicitation (2003)",
and "108 Treasures for the Heart: A Guide to Daily Living
(2005)".
His most
recent editorial contribution is "Transforming the Mind: To Create
Happiness in our Lives" (2008).
Bro Benny
holds a BA (Honors) Education degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a
M.P.A. degree from University of Malaya.
He is employed as an Executive
Director with an international company in Malaysia.
